Job Description

Overview Smiles at Fairfax Corner is looking for a Dental Practice Supervisor in Fairfax, Virginia, to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Position Overview:
As a Dental Practice Supervisor you'll utilize your team-building and communication skills to the fullest. The right candidate will be organized and have the skills necessary to multitask effectively and efficiently. You'll be a key point of contact for dental team members, while acting as liaison between the office and the management. Therefore, this position is especially important for ensuring messages are delivered to the office team in a timely and consistent manner. In addition to exceptional communication and organizational skills, the ideal applicant will lead in a positive, yet productive way. He or she must have the ability to thrive under pressure and work well with others.

Competitive pay min 24 per hour
  • max $29 per hour Full time: Monday
  • Thursday 7am

Supervise and support patient coordinators, dental assistants, hygienists, and treatment coordinators to maintain smooth workflows. Manage scheduling, staffing, and front-office operations to optimize productivity and patient experience. Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance processes while ensuring accurate financial transactions. Monitor office finances, including expense management, invoice submission, collections, and receivables, to maintain profitability. Maintain office inventory by overseeing supplies, equipment, and facility cleanliness for an organized and professional environment. Lead hiring, training, and staff development while addressing patient and employee concerns professionally to foster a positive workplace culture. Qualifications Experience working in a dental office is required. Experience in insurance processes and billing is a must. Strong organizational and leadership skills to work independently in fast paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software. Strong attention to detail, compliance, and confidentiality in handling patient records and office operations.
