This role is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely request, organization, and maintenance of diverse case-related documentation, including medical records, billing statements, service documentation, and citations. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, exhibit proficiency in professional communication with medical providers and other third parties, and manage sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiate and manage the process of requesting and following up on medical records, billing statements, service documentation, and legal citations. Monitor and track patient treatment and services with medical providers to ensure comprehensive record collection. Communicate professionally with medical facilities, and various external entities to procure necessary documentation. Systematically organize, meticulously review, and accurately upload all records into the firm's designated case management system. Maintain precise and detailed logs of all records requests and received documents. Ensure all case documents are correctly labeled, securely stored, and readily accessible for retrieval. Provide support to legal staff in locating and compiling records pertinent to active case files. Uphold the strictest standards of confidentiality regarding all client and case-specific information.
Minimum Qualifications:
Mandatory fluency in both Spanish and English. Demonstrated superior organizational and administrative capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with medical providers, courts, and external third parties via telephone and electronic correspondence. Proficiency in fundamental computer applications (e.g., email, document management systems, Microsoft or comparable platforms). Adeptness in managing multiple simultaneous requests and diligently following up on outstanding documentation. Prior experience in a legal office, medical records management, or a related administrative capacity is advantageous. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work autonomously and manage tasks effectively without requiring continuous supervision.. Reliable transportation to our office
Schedule and Compensation:
Part-Time:
Approximately 20 hours per week
Full-Time:
May be available, contingent upon the candidate's experience and the operational requirements of the firm. This is an on-site position.
Compensation:
Hourly compensation will be determined commensurate with experience.
