Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Records Tech to join our growing healthcare team in The Villages, FL. In this essential role, you will help ensure the accurate, timely, and secure management of patient information while supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinical practice. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality. You will work closely with front office staff, nurses, and physicians in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly support quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Electronically file documents into patients' electronic medical charts accurately. Answer and direct incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner. Respond promptly to urgent medical chart requests from providers and staff. Strictly uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards. Perform general clerical duties including scanning, data entry, photocopying, and faxing. Maintain flexibility in meeting the evolving needs of the department and healthcare team with other duties as assigned. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive and efficient office environment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with standard office equipment and software Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Familiarity with medical terminology Previous healthcare or medical office experience Why Join Us?
