Full Job Description Pay Rate:
$22.77/hour Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at East Moline Correctional Center located in East Moline, Illinois. The Medical Records Clerk maintains offender health records, retrieves health records for scheduled appointments, files offender health data, initiates records for new or transferred intakes. They review health records for completeness, files records as required, prepares reports as needed and more. High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree Certification by the American Health Information Management Association as a Registered Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred but not required Prior experience with medical records and services Completion of a medical terminology course preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
