Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Receptionist with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, playing a crucial role in providing high-quality service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Front Desk Management:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed. 2.
Administrative Support:
Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Schedule and confirm appointments, handle billing inquiries, and process payments. Assist with the coordination of patient care and communicate with medical staff as required. 3.
Facility Coordination:
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable. Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to maintain a clean and safe environment. 4.
Patient Communication:
Provide information about services and policies to patients and families. Address patient concerns and escalate to appropriate staff when needed. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in medical administration is a plus. Proven work experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk Representative in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare procedures is preferred.
