Job Description

We are seeking a full time receptionist for our lobby!
Full Time:
11-7:30a Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated medical receptionist to uphold safety and security standards across our premises. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. You will be responsible for monitoring the environment, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring the well-being of all personnel and visitors. Your proactive approach and commitment to maintaining a secure environment will be vital in supporting our organization's safety objectives. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter. Conduct regular rounds of the facility, checking for any signs of disturbance or unauthorized activity and notify house supervisor. Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents, following established protocols. Maintain accurate logs and reports of all activities, incidents, and visitors. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel. Assist with patient admissions and discharges as needed. Assist with doing patient and patient belonging searches. Provide information and assistance to patients and visitors, including directions and hospital policies. Complete audits and data input for facility as needed. Collaborate with clinical staff, and administration to ensure a safe environment. Enforce hospital rules and regulations, including visitor policies and curfews. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in security or healthcare administration is a plus. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to conduct rounds and respond to emergencies. A professional demeanor with strong ethical standards and integrity. From $19.00 per hour
