Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dental Office Administrator/Insurance Coordinator to oversee daily administrative operations and manage insurance processes. The ideal candidate will possess dental office experience, strong management skills, and proficiency with dental practice management software. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office workflows, accurate billing, and optimal patient service delivery. Responsibilities Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out procedures efficiently to enhance patient experience. Manage insurance claims processing, verification, and authorization using systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all medical records and patient information. Oversee billing, coding, and accounts receivable activities while monitoring financial performance and budgeting. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of managed care policies, dental insurance plans, and healthcare regulations to optimize reimbursement processes. Experience Proven experience in dental office processes with a focus on insurance coordination and billing procedures. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to lead administrative teams effectively. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is essential. Strong understanding of dental terminology, healthcare regulations including HIPAA, and medical records management. Previous experience working in a dental office and coordinating insurances and benefits.
