You'll join a small, supportive team where everyone works together to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Manage a multi phone line system, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding appointments and services Verify insurance eligibility and benefits (medical and dental) Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently Obtaining referrals and x-rays for patients Collect co-pays and handle payment processing, billing and insurance claims Obtain and input patient information and maintain up-to-date records in the practice management system Communicate effectively with surgical and clinical staff regarding scheduling and patient needs Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure all documentation is completed and confidential
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of dental and/or surgical terminology Comfortable verifying dental and medical insurance and explaining benefits to patients Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional, calm, and empathic demeanor with patients Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentially practices Ability to work independently and as part of a small team High School diploma or equivalent
