Job Description

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Clinical Secretary for our Mental Health Clinic in Hattiesburg, MS . The Clinical Secretary is vital to Pine Belt Mental Health's ability to ensure that our consumers receive an excellent first impression of the clinic and a smooth registration process. The ideal candidate for the Clinical Secretary position will be team oriented, service-minded and empathetic in their approach to our patients and their families. This is a full time position
  • schedule would be Monday
  • Friday, 8:00 am
  • 5:00 pm .
No on-call duties required with this position. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software preferred Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software preferred Excellent customer service skills required Ability to manage multiple projects at once required
Responsibilities:
Welcomes consumers and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries. Performs all clerical duties, including typing, scheduling appointments, processing accounts receivable, answering telephone, and posting charges and payments to ledger cards.
