Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and patient satisfaction.

Duties:

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments
Collect patient information, verify insurance coverage, and update medical records
Coordinate patient flow and assist with check-in and check-out processes
Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and maintain financial records
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Assist with various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical setting is preferred
Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple lines
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
