Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and patient satisfaction.Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments
- Collect patient information, verify insurance coverage, and update medical records
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with check-in and check-out processes
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and maintain financial records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical setting is preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
