We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Bilingual Dental Receptionist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service to patients while efficiently managing front-office responsibilities, scheduling, insurance coordination, and patient communication. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with patients in both languages and creating a welcoming, positive experience from the moment patients contact our office. Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival. Answer incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule dental appointments. Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient records. Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits. Explain treatment costs, payment options, and office financial policies to patients. Collect copayments, balances, and other payments as needed. Assist with treatment estimates, pre-authorizations, and insurance claims. Communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, and follow-up needs. Provide clear and professional communication in both English and Spanish . Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with dentists, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient patient flow. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Assist with general administrative and office duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous dental office or healthcare front-desk experience preferred. Fluent in English and Spanish , both verbally and in writing. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working with computers, scheduling software, and electronic health records. Basic understanding of dental insurance and terminology preferred. Ability to multitask and remain professional in a busy office environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements. Preferred Experience 1-2 years of dental reception or medical front-desk experience. Experience with dental practice Dentrix Ascend management software. Familiarity with dental insurance verification, claims, and treatment estimates. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
