Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the medical field.

Duties:

Accompany healthcare professionals during patient visits and accurately document medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in real-time
Transcribe medical dictations and ensure accuracy of information
Assist with medical record management, including organizing and maintaining patient files
Enter data into electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure completeness and accuracy of information
Coordinate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and other medical staff
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing paperwork

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
Excellent typing skills with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Familiarity with medical records systems and electronic health record (EHR) software
Ability to transcribe medical dictations quickly and accurately
Knowledge of specialized fields such as ophthalmology or emergency medicine is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
