Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the medical field.
Duties:
  • Accompany healthcare professionals during patient visits and accurately document medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in real-time
  • Transcribe medical dictations and ensure accuracy of information
  • Assist with medical record management, including organizing and maintaining patient files
  • Enter data into electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure completeness and accuracy of information
  • Coordinate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and other medical staff
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing paperwork
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
  • Excellent typing skills with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with medical records systems and electronic health record (EHR) software
  • Ability to transcribe medical dictations quickly and accurately
  • Knowledge of specialized fields such as ophthalmology or emergency medicine is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
