$20•24 per hour, based on experience We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Scribe, Spanish/English, to support a fast-paced medical practice. This role is primarily focused on real-time clinical documentation and assisting the provider by accurately typing patient encounters into the EMR. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, fast at typing, reliable, and interested in gaining hands-on clinical experience. Schedule Part-time with advance monthly scheduling. Guaranteed 2 days per month, with the opportunity for additional days depending on clinic volume, employee performance, reliability, and overall fit for the role. Key Responsibilities Document patient visits in real time during provider encounters. Accurately capture history, exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans. Assist with Spanish-English translation for patients when needed. Support provider workflow to improve efficiency during visits. Provide light clinical or administrative assistance when needed. Requirements Fluent in Spanish and English, required. Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute, required. Strong typing skills with the ability to document quickly and accurately. Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Willing to primarily focus on documentation/typing with some support tasks as needed. Travel Requirement This role requires travel between multiple clinic locations, including Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Rockaway, and Long Island locations. Candidates must be comfortable commuting between locations on assigned days. Reliable transportation is required, such as subway, car, or other dependable transportation. Ability to drive is preferred but not required. Preferred, Not Required Prior medical scribe or healthcare experience. Familiarity with EMR systems. Interest in healthcare, such as pre-med, pre-PA, nursing, or related fields. Ability to drive between locations. Ideal Candidate Fast and accurate typist who can keep up in real time. Bilingual and comfortable communicating with patients. Flexible with schedule and location. Reliable and able to travel to assigned clinic locations.
