Seasons Belleair Memory Care is a family-owned and operated Assisted Living Facility where our residents are loved and cared for like family. We are looking for an experienced Caregiver to join our team. This is a full-time position. Must be professional and dependable. We are looking for someone who is a go-getter and multi-tasker with a warm and friendly personality, who is compassionate and caring, is organized and pays close attention to detail. Responsibilities Provide resident care, emotional support, supervision of self-administered medications, bathing, assistance with all ADL'S, proper paperwork management and documentation for all residents of the Community. Assist residents with any problems they may have or direct them to appropriate to help them. Keep files up to date and neat. Provide a pleasant and loving environment for all residents. Be responsible for all additional hands on assistance of residents. Make administration aware of resident's problems which may result in that resident needing additional services, more assistance with daily care or transfer to another facility. Communicate with pharmacies as necessary to ensure that all residents have medications in the Community as ordered. (If working as a Med-Tech) Count narcotics with off-going shift and sign narcotic book appropriately. (If working as a Med-Tech) Sign in and read communication log, initialing that you have read and understand the previous entries since the last shift you worked. Make note in the log of any information concerning residents, as they occur to ensure that the following shifts also have the information

PRIOR TO EACH

MEAL, make sure ALL residents are accounted for in the dining room. Ensure a supervisor is aware if there is a problem. If a person does not want to come to the dining room we must still ensure they get food and their medications in their room. Note in the communication log if anyone misses a meal and the reason. Have one aide present in the dining room

AT ALL TIMES

until the last resident has finished eating. Supervise residents taking medications as ordered and according to the ALF guidelines. All medications must be signed for in the MAR. Assist resident with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene. Answers call light system in a timely manner. Make your Supervisor, Nursing Supervisor or Administrator aware of any situation or problem a resident may have that needs to be addressed by a physician or family member. Do walking rounds throughout the entire building, every hour during the evening and night shifts. When away from the desk on the evening and night shifts, take a portable phone with you to assure communication capabilities in the event of an emergency. Laundry and various housekeeping will be done on the evening and night shifts. Any other duties or responsibilities are determined by the Supervisor, Nursing Supervisor or Administrator.
