Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Aide/Med Tech to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist in providing high-quality resident care within senior living or healthcare facilities, ensuring safe medication administration and personalized support. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a warm, safe, and engaging environment for residents. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialized medication management and personal care. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately following state healthcare regulations and facility policies Observe and document residents' responses to medications, vital signs, and overall health status using electronic health record (EHR) systems Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents for signs of adverse reactions or changes in condition, including dementia or Alzheimer's care needs Maintain detailed medical documentation, including medication logs, medical records, and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, families, and other caregivers to coordinate resident care plans Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR systems such as Cerner or similar platforms Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards Certified in First Aid and CPR; knowledge of basic life support techniques required Experience working with individuals with dementia is highly valued Excellent caregiver communication skills to provide compassionate resident personal care assistance while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to enriching lives through attentive caregiving. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
