Job Description

  • Behavior Aides
  • to support K-12 students throughout the Lodi and Stockton area. In this role, you will work directly with students who require additional behavioral and academic support, helping them succeed both inside and outside the classroom. We offer both
  • full-time and part-time opportunities

Full-Time:
  • Approximately 30 hours per week +
  • Part-Time:
  • Approximately 6 hours per day (1-5 days per week)

  • Pay Rate:
  • Starting at $18.00/hour and up, based on experience +

  • August 2026 +

  • Full school year + Flexible scheduling options available
  • Responsibilities
  • + Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support + Assist students with academics and classroom activities + Implement behavior intervention plans under the direction of educational staff + Collect and document student progress and behavior data + Promote positive social interactions and skill development + Support students during behavioral escalations or crisis situations + Assist with daily living skills, mobility, and toileting when required + Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff •Student Populations May Include•+ Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) + ADHD/ADD + Down Syndrome + Cerebral Palsy + Learning Disabilities + Developmental Disabilities + Behavioral and Emotional Challenges •Qualifications•+ Must be 18 years of age or older + High School Diploma or equivalent required + Experience working with children required + School-based experience preferred + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + CPR Certification required (assistance available) + TB Test required within 90 days (assistance available) •Why Join Amergis?
