Job Description

Under the direction of the appropriately assigned supervisor, the Behavior Interventionist works with clients in a natural environment or school setting to achieve behavioral changes. The candidate should be able to work within San Bernardino County/Ontario and surrounding areas using reliable transportation.
Typical duties are:
Understanding and work effectively with clients in the home and public settings, perform data collection, understand applied behavior analysis (ABA), identify problem behaviors and their function, collaborate with other staff, make sound judgments, dependability and punctuality, maintain client confidentiality, and other duties as assigned. Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to varying cities within a regional area is required. (Up to 40 hours of training will be provided for each new qualified candidate.)
Experience and Education:
High school diploma with two years of college preferred, two years experience providing support services to clients with disabilities in a behavioral services organization highly desirable. The ability to speak/understand English/Spanish is preferred.
