Job Summary Position Overview The

MTSS/RTI

Assistant provides support to the school's MTSS team, teachers, interventionists, and students. The assistant helps with organizing MTSS information, supporting intervention implementation, monitoring student progress, and providing resources to staff. The goal of the position is to assist with the day-to-day organization and implementation of MTSS supports so teachers and student teams have the resources they need to support student success. Essential Responsibilities MTSS Support Assist with the day-to-day implementation of the school's MTSS process. Assist with preparing MTSS plans and related documentation. Help organize student information and intervention records. Assist with scheduling and preparing for MTSS meetings. Intervention Support Assist teachers and interventionists with implementing intervention plans. Help gather materials needed for interventions. Check in with staff regarding intervention implementation and student progress. Assist with making adjustments to interventions when requested by the student team. Progress Monitoring & Data Help maintain accurate MTSS documentation. Support teachers with progress-monitoring tools and resources. Assist with reviewing student data for MTSS meetings. Help ensure intervention information is updated as needed. Staff Collaboration Work collaboratively with teachers, interventionists, administrators, and support staff. Serve as a resource for staff who have questions about the MTSS process. Share intervention strategies, resources, and materials with teachers. Provide support and follow-up when requested. Student & Family Support Assist with gathering information needed to support student interventions. Participate in student support meetings when appropriate. Assist with communication and documentation related to student interventions. Maintain confidentiality of student information. Organization & Documentation Maintain organized MTSS files, plans, and progress-monitoring information. Assist with tracking intervention timelines and follow-up items.
