Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation) Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering client-centered support, fostering recovery, and promoting positive behavioral health outcomes. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with various mental health and developmental challenges. Must have a bachelor's or masters degree in one of the following: counseling, psychology, social work, education, criminal justice. Pay rate will be based on educational level and experience. Responsibilities Provide peer support and rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders. Assist clients with daily living activities, including skill development, behavior management, and crisis intervention techniques. Support clients through intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing progress documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Implement behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and conduct data collection to monitor progress. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor vital signs when necessary, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols. Utilize crisis management skills and de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety during challenging situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including behavioral health records and treatment notes, following medical terminology standards. Experience Prior experience working with children or youth in behavioral health or special education settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, de-escalation methods, and first aid/CPR certification are required. Experience working with electronic medical records (EHR) systems while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations is essential. Strong background in social work practices, behavior management strategies, and client communication skills are necessary for success in this role. $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
