The MHP will provide community-based behavioral health services under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Professional. Responsibilities Provide individual supportive counseling and community support services. Facilitate individual and group psychosocial skills training. Provide parent and family interventions. Interview members and gather relevant behavioral health information. Monitor members' progress toward treatment goals. Assist the LMHP with assessments and treatment planning. Provide crisis intervention in collaboration with the LMHP. Connect members and families with appropriate community resources. Monitor members' functioning in home, school, and community settings. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies. Participate in staff meetings, training, supervision, and case consultations. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or another mental-health-related field from an accredited institution. At least 15 graduate-level credit hours or practicum experience involving intervention strategies for behavioral, emotional, or mental health concerns. Strong communication, documentation, and client-engagement skills. Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Ability to respond professionally and compassionately during crisis situations. Current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification or ability to obtain required certifications. Valid driver's license and access to a legally insured vehicle. Must successfully complete all required background checks, screenings, training, and credentialing requirements. _ Mental Health Specialist MHS - Bachelors Degree Required _ Immanuels Healing Center is seeking an energetic and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to provide psychosocial skills training and community support services under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Professional. Responsibilities Provide individual and group psychosocial skills training. Help members develop coping, communication, social, and independent-living skills. Provide community support services based on each member's treatment plan. Monitor members' behaviors and functioning in home, school, and community settings. Discuss progress toward treatment goals with members and the clinical team. Connect members and families with beneficial community resources. Reinforce positive behaviors and encourage healthy social interaction. Assist with crisis intervention under the direction of the LMHP. Consult with the LMHP regarding member needs, progress, and concerns. Complete accurate and timely service documentation. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies. Participate in required training, supervision, and staff meetings. Qualifications Applicants must meet at least one of the following education or experience pathways: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a mental-health-related field; or Bachelor's degree with current enrollment in a graduate mental-health-related program and completion of at least two courses in that field; or High school diploma or GED with at least four years of direct-service experience in a mental health, physical health, social services, education, or correctional setting; or At least two years of experience as a Mental Health Assistant in a mental health rehabilitation setting.
