Daily duties include;

• Drive residents and participants with alcohol and drug abuse issues to outside meetings, appointments, and outings on time according to the drive schedule
• Remain in communication with the Program Manager regarding drives and drive when needed; ensure that the interior portion of the company vehicles are clean at all times; monitor clients at all times during shift and communicate regularly with the clinical team.
• Responsible for following department protocol for checking-out vehicles, proper use of equipment and maintaining contact with transportation office and/or shift supervisor
• Conduct searches when needed; inventory client personal property with clients upon intakes; utilize good communication skills in working with clients, their families, and significant others on a daily basis and while in crisis
• Ensure that the client activity and treatment schedule is adhered to; must be a role model at all times, and if applicable, shares personal experience, strength, and hope and act as a sobriety role model.
• Ensure resident/participant, staff, volunteer, and vendor safety is adhered to at all times
• Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned property inside and out by re-stocking items, following up client chores, assisting them, and if necessary, completing client chores.
• Perform drug and alcohol testing per protocol when necessary
• Diligently monitor clients at all times during shift and overnight
• Oversee the self-administration of medication process when needed, ensuring adherence to all medication policies and procedures, and accurate documentation of the processes; medication audits when assigned.
