Job Description
South Shores Recovery is looking for an experienced and passionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our growing team in Dana Point. Behavioral Health Technicians are an essential part of our operations team, and their duties would include: Direct client care and daily engagement with persons suffering from substance use disorder and other co-occurring disorders Observation and documentation of client's self-administered medications within EMR software KIPU as needed. Documentation of rounds observations on client behaviors Facility safety and security procedures including belongings searches and urinalysis testing. Co-facilitate and document groups within scope of expertise (as required). Intake documentation within EMR software for clients admitting to the program General upkeep of facility that align with standards set forth by DHCS and Joint Commission. Demonstration of empathy, understanding, compassion, and clear communication. Upholding facility rules, regulations, and boundaries with clients. Collaborate with operations teammates to complete daily duties as required.
