Mental Health Technician Wellstone Regional Hospital - 2.9 Jeffersonville, IN Job Details Full-time | PRN 4 days ago Benefits Loan repayment program Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Pet insurance Qualifications Some college High school diploma or GED Working with individuals with mental health conditions CNA Geriatrics Full Job Description Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is seeking dynamic and talented full-time Mental Health Technicians, 5 days per week, 2nd shift (2:45p-11:15p), and 1st shift (6:45a-3:15p), working every other weekend. The Mental Health Technician function as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics depending on which unit worked. The Mental Health Technician work under the direction of the Registered Nurse. These are non-exempt, hourly, 2nd and 3rd shift positions, eligible for shift differentials. Every other weekend is required.

Qualifications Education:

Must have High School Diploma, college preferred. CNA is a plus!!

Experience:

Behavioral Health experience preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements:

CPI/CPR training must be completed prior to working any unit independently. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours. Must complete and pass screening process.

Hours of Work:

6:45a-3:15p; 2:45p-11:15p; 5 days per week (every other weekend); other times as indicated by immediate supervisor.
