Contract Pay Rate:
$23/hr for days
Payrate:
$25.75/hour for nights We are seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Attendants (BHA) for a healthcare facility in Logansport, Indiana . If you have experience in behavioral health, mental health, residential treatment, or patient care and are passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Monitor patient safety and maintain a secure therapeutic environment. Observe, document, and report patient behaviors and conditions. Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans. Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques when appropriate. Escort patients to appointments, activities, and therapy sessions. Support patients with daily living activities and independent living skills. Assist with recreational and occupational therapy activities. Perform basic clerical duties, including documentation, scheduling, filing, and answering unit phones. Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provide first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed. Maintain HIPAA compliance and facility policies. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Experience with basic clerical duties (filing, scheduling, phone coverage, ordering supplies). Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Previous experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, residential treatment, or correctional settings is highly preferred. CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
