Milieu Coordinator performs both supervision of residents and staff, and additionally serves as a training adjunct for new employees and conducts annual training for all staff in milieu specific areas, including:

• De-escalation
• Safe Crisis Management
• Environment of Care (Fire and Emergency Drills and training)
• MHT-specific competencies overview

Shadowing:

Coordinates the shadowing schedule for new employees Competencies/Duties specific to Milieu Coordinator duties: All duties of the shift supervisor, plus: 1. Schedule training for new hires. 2. Ensures all new-hire paperwork pertaining to areas of training are completed accurately and received by HR. 3. At the completion of training, make recommendations to HR regarding shift and pod placement of trainees. 4. Coordinates shadowing schedule with other supervisors, gathers feedback about their shadowing experiences, and determines if further training is indicated. 5. Conducts annual training on topics assigned by HR, DON, and CEO. 6. Participates in Performance Improvement activities as assigned by Leadership. 7. Inform HR, DON, and CEO of any perceived training needs based on observation and feedback of staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or GED is required. 2. Bachelor's degree in human service area is preferred. 3. One year of behavioral health experience. 4. Must become Safe Crisis Management certified and maintain certification.

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
