Substance Abuse Technicians are responsible for the following: Afternoon shifts 3:00pm to 11:00 pm Sunday to Thursday Must have valid driver's license. Position requires that you are able to work with a population comprised of substance use disorders and mental health issues. Technicians monitor medication times, administer drug tests and pbt's, log counts and whereabouts of residents at all times. Technicians are required to observe, interact, oversee and document any/all occurrences within facility. Technicians facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups, collaborate with clinical team, and have the ability to articulate person activity to supervisor. Technicians are required to participate in trainings applicable to position, demonstrate compassion, and have adequate interpersonal skills sufficient to oversee persons being served at facility. Technicians work closely with other service providers and thereby increased accountability with funding sources.
