Male Substance Abuse Technician Turning Point Recovery Centers Pontiac, MI Job Details Full-time From $16 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Qualifications Addiction counseling Driver's License Motivational interviewing Substance abuse Working with individuals with mental health conditions Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Group counseling Group therapy instruction Behavioral health Full Job Description Position requires that you are able to work with a population comprised of substance use disorders and mental health issues. Tech/monitor will be required to observe, interact, oversee and document any/all occurrences within facility. Position will require an individual to facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups, collaborate with clinical team, and have the ability to articulate person activity to supervisor. Recovery Technician will be required to participate in trainings applicable to position, demonstrate compassion, and have adequate interpersonal skills sufficient to oversee persons being served at facility. Position will also require that you work closely with other providers and MDOC rules and regulations. Schedule- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3pm to 11pm
