The BVIU is seeking candidates to fill a Behavior Health Technician - Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) position, which will provide direct one-on-one support to children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional needs, implementing treatment plans designed to improve their social, emotional, and behavioral functioning. The successful candidate shall meet the experience and credentialing requirements as specified in PA Code Chapter 5240.81. Part-time and Full-Time Positions may be available. Individuals who provide ABA services through BHT-ABA services shall meet one of the following: Have a certification as a BCBA, or Have a certification as an RBT, or Have a certification as a BCAT, or Have a behavior analysis certification from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute, or Have a high school diploma or the equivalent, and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List, or Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA. Demonstrate knowledge of the interventions pertaining to individuals with complex needs/behaviors and their treatments.
