Job Description

Milestone Addiction Treatment is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to observe and monitor patients in treatment and reporting duties as assigned by the direct supervisor. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals in recovery from Substance Abuse. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Knowledgable of all stages of treatment, relapse, and recovery Scheduling Flexibility Ability to AMA Block Ability to complete intake paperwork Observe medications and perform routine audits and room searches Perform randomized and scheduled UDS's and Breathalyzers Understand and follow all State and Federal HIPPA Laws Remains calm under pressure Oversee cleanliness of properties Ensuring client safety - including, but not limited to having crisis intervention training and reporting all potential hazardous situations Collect and record data on client progress Completing tasks as requested by assigned Supervisor Qualifications Experience or education in behavioral health, special education, or related fields is preferred. Clean driving record and must be licensed for 4+ years Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards is essential. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs is highly valued. Skills in crisis intervention and patient care are necessary for success in this role. Experience in research data collection or addiction counseling is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
