TruDallas Detox provides compassionate and comprehensive care for individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders through Detox (DTX), Residential Treatment (RTC) services. We are looking for dependable, compassionate team members who are passionate about helping individuals on their recovery journey. Position Summary The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) plays a critical role in supporting clients throughout their treatment experience by ensuring safety, providing transportation, assisting with daily operations, and helping create a structured and supportive environment for recovery. This position works closely with clinical, medical, and operations teams to ensure clients receive quality care throughout all levels of treatment. Responsibilities Monitor client safety and conduct routine rounds/observations Assist with client admissions, discharges, and orientations Facilitate client transportation to appointments, meetings, and other approved outings Conduct client searches and drug screenings/urinalysis as needed Document observations, incidents, and client interactions accurately and timely Assist with medication line support (within company guidelines) Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and inventory needs Support clients with daily schedules and treatment participation Assist with meal coordination and basic facility operations when needed Communicate concerns regarding client behavior, safety, or medical needs to leadership immediately Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times Qualifications Previous experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, healthcare, or related field preferred Valid driver's license required with clean driving record Must be comfortable transporting clients as needed Kipu EMR experience is a plus CPR/First Aid certification preferred Strong communication and crisis management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented Requirements Must be able to pass background screening Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed Ability to remain calm in crisis situations Must be physically able to assist with facility responsibilities and remain active throughout shifts Why Join TruDallas Detox? Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
