Job Description

About Hope Founded in 1957, Hope is an educational innovator for individuals with disabilities which grew from a residential campus in Springfield and has since expanded to become so much more. The individuals we serve enjoy improved learning outcomes, increased confidence, independence and a greater appreciation for differences.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Implement music therapy programs to address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of patients used to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings, enhance memory, and improve communication.
Serves as a resource person and guide providing musical experiences that will aid in patient care.
Designs and conducts music sessions for individuals and groups, based on client needs.
Coordinates therapy with other team members and shares response to music therapy intervention.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Bachelor's Degree
Board Certified Music Therapist
2 years experience preferred
Pediatric Care - 1 year or more
Behavioral/Mental Health - 1 year or more Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
