Mercy is seeking a Nuclear Medicine professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals in a patient-centered environment. You will prepare and administer radioactive materials, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards. Working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, you'll support accurate diagnoses while providing compassionate care. Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately Operate and troubleshoot gamma cameras and related imaging equipment Verify patient identity, obtain history, and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain accurate documentation and records Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support diagnostic decisions Monitor patients during and after procedures, responding to any adverse reactions Maintain quality control checks on equipment and assist with accreditation/compliance Participate in ongoing education, training, and process improvement initiatives Uphold Mercy's standards for compassionate, patient-centered care Required Skills Nuclear medicine imaging Radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration Gamma camera operation PET/CT or
