One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Nuclear Med Tech, you will be a specialized healthcare professional, vital in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services through the precise application of radionuclides.

Every day, you will expertly perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing radionuclides to produce high-quality images and data for licensed practitioners. You'll ensure appropriate patient care, recognize conditions essential for successful procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate equipment, and adhere to strict radiation safety.

To be successful in this role demands current certification, advanced technical expertise, and an exceptional eye for detail, coupled with a thorough understanding of radiation safety. Solid medical terminology knowledge and ability to successfully complete job related communication & arithmetric calculations required of the position. Radiation Safety/Safety Program related courses. Certification in Nuclear Medicine issued by State of California (CNMT) Certification in Nuclear Medicine/Radiological Technology issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT-NM) and/or certification by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Current CPR
