Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare setting and deliver advanced imaging services as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a specialized, supportive environment. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible, spanning 13 weeks, and provides a structured weekday schedule: work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some procedures occasionally extending until 4:30 pm EST.
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Comprehensive skill in imaging with a strong focus on nuclear medicine modalities Current and active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Detailed knowledge of safety protocols and nuclear medicine equipment operation Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and interact professionally with patients Excellent organizational, communication, and critical-thinking abilities Adaptability to perform in a fast-paced medical setting

Execute a full range of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring high standards of diagnostic quality Accurately prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed Maintain meticulous patient records and contribute to data management processes Adhere rigorously to radiation safety guidelines and facility policies Offer clear, compassionate patient guidance before, during, and after imaging studies Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care Participate actively in department safety initiatives and ongoing quality assurance efforts This role is ideal for an experienced imaging professional eager to contribute expertise to patient outcomes in a collaborative clinical environment.
