Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career by working in a dynamic healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Technologist. This specialized, contract position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art GE Omni equipment, providing advanced diagnostic imaging services.
Schedule:
13-week contract 4x10 hour shifts, daytime schedule
Desired Qualifications:
Proficient in Nuclear Medicine, CT, and PET technology Experience operating GE Omni imaging equipment required Dual certification mandatory: Nuclear Medicine certification (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) Radiology certification (ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)) Active New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures utilizing GE Omni systems Accurately prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety regulations Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes Maintain patient records, following all confidentiality and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure exemplary patient service and accurate diagnostic results Uphold safety protocols, infection control standards, and best practices throughout all procedures
