This contract role calls for a talented Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is confident with both routine and advanced imaging procedures. If you're skilled in delivering exceptional patient care and operating state-of-the-art equipment, this position offers a dynamic environment and a chance to broaden your expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB) Current state licensure (or eligibility) Demonstrated experience in a clinical imaging environment, specifically nuclear medicine Proficiency with SPECT, PET, and combination imaging modalities Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and radiation safety Strong patient communication, comfort, and positioning skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with standards and protocols Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine technology Accurately process and analyze images for physician interpretation Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver patient-focused care Document patient information and imaging results according to HIPAA and facility guidelines Monitor patients during procedures for comfort and safety Why Work Here?
