Job Description
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Advance your career in nuclear medicine by providing vital imaging services to pediatric and general patient populations for a 13-week contract position. This opportunity offers weekday shifts, ideal for professionals seeking consistent hours in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00
PM Qualifications:
Active CMRT (Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist) licensure from the Texas Medical Board CNMT certification (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine through ARRT Minimum 3 years of experience in radiology (all modalities considered) Demonstrated expertise in intravenous procedures and quality control for imaging Experience with pediatric patients preferred, but not mandatory Adaptability to a fast-paced hospital setting
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging studies, ensuring image quality and patient safety Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to rigorous quality control protocols Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient response throughout procedures Collect, document, and communicate results to radiologists and referring physicians clearly and accurately Deliver compassionate, knowledgeable care to both children and adult patients Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient experience and outcomes
