Job Description

Description . This contract, on-site position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality anesthesia care in a dynamic medical practice environment. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anesthesia services for patients across a variety of surgical and procedural settings. You will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes, working within a supportive and fast-paced clinical environment. This role is ideal for an associate-level professional looking to expand their clinical experience while making a meaningful impact on patient care. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels throughout procedures as needed Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety Manage post-anesthesia care and provide appropriate pain management interventions Document all anesthesia-related activities accurately and in compliance with medical standards Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate resuscitation measures when required Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and recovery expectations Maintain a sterile and organized work environment in accordance with clinical protocols Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in anesthesiology Requirements Current and valid CRNA certification and state licensure Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program Associate-level experience in anesthesiology or related clinical settings Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient monitoring Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills in emergency situations Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with medical teams and patients Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care quality Willingness to work flexible hours as required by contract assignments BCLS and ACLS certifications are required
Shifts:
Monday-Friday, 7a-3p
Schedule:
2 weeks on/2 weeks off No call requirement
Case Mix:
General surgery, ENT (including pediatrics), urology, gynecology, podiatry, orthopedics, obstetrics, GI, minor vascular procedures, and sedation for radiology Must be comfortable with spinal, epidural, and US-guided regional anesthesia Fully independent practice Board certification required Paid travel & expenses
