Job Description
We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in California. The incoming provider will work 8:30am - 5:00pm shifts, delivering primary care at an FQHC, managing diverse patient complaints including chronic conditions, well-child checks, and providing women's health procedures. Responsibilities and Duties Provide primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects and managing multiple patient complaints per visit. Cover a provider's sabbatical, primarily seeing adult patients, with no pregnant patients. Conduct kid physicals for school and well-child checks. Manage a variety of cases including cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and homeless care. Offer LGBTQ care, annual check-ups, and typical FQHC primary care with women's health procedures such as IUD/Nexplanon removals.
