Critical Care Position Details:

Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners Role Scope:
Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients. In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, eg, referral to other health team members or specialists. Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.

Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
Training :
Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Experience :
:1+ years in a critical care setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant This is a salaried position. While compensation is presented as an hourly rate for consistency across our postings, this position is paid on a salary basis. The hiring range reflects a good faith estimate of pay for this position as of the posting date. Actual pay will be determined based on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors that may include hire bonuses, incentive pay plans, loan repayment, administrative stipends, or relocation.
