Job Description

Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a PRN Nurse Practitioner for their Adult Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Programs.

Employment Type:

PRN, Hospital Employed, onsite only Schedule /

Hours:

weekends, weekdays, holidays and vacation coverages. (Thursday, Friday and Saturday availability preferred)

Patient Volume:

varies by census

Location:

Sautee, GA-North GA Mountains Practice Setting:

Stand-alone behavioral and substance abuse facility, H&Ps Support /

Care Team:

Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists EMR /

Technology:

Tier currently but will be updated with new EMR in the fall Responsibilities The duties include admission physicals and daily consultation care with follow-ups Medical management of routine illnesses There is a full team of diverse psychiatry physician staff at the hospital for collaboration between them and the FNP. Document care using Tier. Compensation & Benefits Competitive PRN hourly compensation Flexible schedule Malpractice Qualifications PhD or Master s Degree in Nursing from a recognized school of nursing Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Georgia or willingness to obtain licensure in the State of Georgia. Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) Current National DEA Certificate Black Bear Lodge is located in the serene forest foothills of the North GA Mountains and is a place of solace for those suffering from addiction and mental health issues.
