We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a Mobile Health Clinic serving rural communities in Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who is passionate about expanding access to quality healthcare and building lasting relationships with patients. The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in community-based settings while working collaboratively with a supportive healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical histories. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations. Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and management of chronic conditions. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Support healthcare access for rural and underserved populations. Travel to designated community locations as part of the mobile clinic program.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification. Active Kansas
APRN/FNP
license or eligibility for Kansas licensure. Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and primary care skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a healthcare team. Commitment to providing compassionate care to rural and underserved communities.
