Full Job Description Job Opportunity:
LRS is seeking a part-time contractual Nurse Practitioner to work with dual diagnosis adults at our Baltimore County location. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (CRNP-PMH) to join our mental health team as a contractual, fee for service contractor. This position is three days a week, 20 hours total per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various mental health conditions. This role involves working with substance abuse clients with dual diagnosis. The Psychiatrist will also have the opportunity to engage in telehealth services, expanding access to care for patients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Provide psychotherapy and mental health counseling to patients in various settings, including clinics. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes and treatment efficacy. Provide care for specific populations, including geriatrics and individuals with PTSD. Engage in telehealth services to reach patients who may have barriers to in-person visits. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Experience Experience working with substance abuse/dual diagnosis is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is a plus. Experience in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques and mental health counseling is essential. Strong skills in patient assessment and behavioral health interventions are necessary. Previous experience in data collection related to patient care outcomes is beneficial.
