Redington Fairview General Hospital (RFGH)- Multiple Practice Opportunities Redington Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) is seeking qualified Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join our growing clinical teams across three medical practices. We welcome applications from Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates who are passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care as well as motivated clinicians looking to grow your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Available Practice Locations:
Redington Medical Primary Care (Adults only) Somerset Primary Care (Adults & some adolescents) Redington Family Practice (Adults & Pediatrics)
Position Responsibilities:
Depending on the practice and specialty, responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for all ages. Performing annual physical exams Well child checkups (practice specific) Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory studies. Prescribing medications and providing appropriate patient education. Performing procedures within the provider's scope of practice and specialty training. Managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Collaborating with other APPs, physicians, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record. Participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Minimal call (phone call only)
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program Board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate Active NP or PA license in the state of Maine Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
