• Standish is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate/Assistant to join a growing team. The NP/PA will be responsible for providing Primary Care services for established patients of MaineHealth Primary Care
• Family Medicine
• Standish . Responsibilities would include including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients. This is a team care approach that will be working closely with physicians and other clinicians to provide patients a medical home
• a place to go for help with any health issues.

Schedule:

3-day Work Week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) MH Primary Care

Standish Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate/Assistant program. Current license issued by the State of Maine as Nurse Practitioner/Physician Associate. Current certification as NP/PA required. BLS certification is required. 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required. Knowledge of advanced practice of nursing, professional nursing theory, practices and regulations related to evaluating and providing patient care, and professional ethics related to the delivery of nursing care. Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, including state of wellness and compliance with care recommendations. Skill in case management, time management, problem solving, crisis intervention, multitasking and other organizational matters. Ability to make responsible decisions within scope of NP/PA Practice. Ability to educate patients, families, and staff in user-friendly manner. Strong computer skills with skill in using computerized health information management system. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, clinical staff and the public. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

The pay range for this position at a .75 FTE is $85,425 to $110,550 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.
