Job Description

Psychiatric Family Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP Preferred) Join Our Team and Make a Difference in Behavioral Health & Addiction Treatment We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and highly skilled Psychiatric Family Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric and medical services for individuals enrolled in our Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). In this role, you will conduct comprehensive History & Physical (H&P) examinations, perform psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing medication management and clinical care for patients receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct H&Ps and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
  • Diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric and medical follow-up care for patients enrolled in OBOT, IOP, and PHP services.
  • Initiate, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) as clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams, including therapists, counselors, nursing staff, case managers, and addiction treatment professionals.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Participate in treatment planning and care coordination to support positive patient outcomes. Qualifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification preferred; Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with significant psychiatric and addiction treatment experience will be considered.
  • Experience treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, medication management, and addiction treatment skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
