We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Aug 17, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care in a rural health clinic, managing acute cases, chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes, and performing physicals and wellness visits across a diverse patient population, including geriatrics. The schedule offers flexibility with options for four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive primary care in a rural health clinic setting. Perform physicals, wellness, and annual visits. Manage acute cases, including cold, cough, and flu. Treat chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, with a higher volume of diabetes patients. Administer vaccinations. Perform minor foreign body removals. Care for a diverse patient population, including a higher volume of geriatric patients and occasional pediatric cases. Collaborate with an on-site Family Practice Physician. Conduct appointments with slot times ranging from 15 to 45 minutes, based on patient acuity and visit type. Additional Information Board Certification in Family Medicine is required. Experience with Cerner EMR system.
