Job Description

Victory Recovery Partners is an Outpatient Addiction Recovery Center looking for a per-diem Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. We are looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The PA/NP will provide all medical services to patients enrolled in outpatient services. This position is for our Farmingville. Your schedule would be Mondays from 8am-8pm.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Conduct full comprehensive physical exams as require by our program. Establish a rapport with patients and encourage them to maintain good health and hygiene. Order and review lab, radiology and EKG testing. PPD placements and reads. Assess and treat all acute and chronic medical condition including but not limited to HTN, DM, thyroid disorders. Educate patients on healthy habits and practices including but not limited to safe sex behaviors, STD education, smoking cessation, and lifestyle modifications when necessary. Testing, work up, and treatment of Hepatitis C. Work with interdisciplinary team to provide care coordination.

Education, Experience and Required Skills/Abilities:

Valid, Unrestricted NYS Medical License Valid DEA certification Completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Travel to multiple sites is required for this position Salary commensurate with experience.

$65.00 per hour
